Travel Awards

We are happy to announce two travel award programs for participation in the Arctic Futures 2050 Conference. Limited travel support is available for early-career researchers and Indigenous knowledge holders. The number of awards will be dependent on funding. For more information on either award and to apply, click on the links below. Please let Brendan Kelly (bpkelly [at] alaska.edu) know if you are neither an early-career researcher nor an Indigenous knowledge holder, but need help finding travel support.

Funding for travel awards is made possible through our generous sponsors: the National Science Foundation's Arctic Sciences Section, the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation (for Indigenous knowledge holder travel award), the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, and the American Geophysical Union.

Applications for both awards are due: 20 May 2019 (11:59 pm submitter's local time)

Notifications of travel awards: 17 June 2019

Please email AF2050 [at] arcus.org with any questions.
