SEARCH Meetings at AGU Fall Meeting 2014
American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Meeting
15–19 December 2014
San Francisco, California
SEARCH Town Hall
Monday, 15 December 2014
12:30-1:30 PM PST
Moscone West, Room 2005
This town hall with SEARCH leadership provided a forum for exchanging information and ideas on SEARCH. The town hall provided updates on new SEARCH funding and activities, including those related to the SEARCH 5-year science goals and the Arctic Observing Network; discussed how researchers and others can participate in SEARCH; gathered input from the community; and addressed questions and concerns.
Members of the Arctic science, education, and policy communities were invited to attend. We encouraged students and early career investigators to participate.
Light refreshments were provided.
80-85 participants attended the town hall.
